DESCRIPTION:Anyone in education (teacher, principal or school administrator) will agree on both the importance and challenge of family engagement.  What if you could feel confident about engaging families?  What if it felt empowering?  What if you could do less and engage families more?  Curious? Then please join us for this free Pop-Up event where we will help you develop the skill to reframe you thoughts on engaging families.  This is not a sit and get so be prepared to have fun and to participate.  The event will be facilitated by Barb Flis, Founder, Parent Action for Healthy Kids. For more than two decades Barb has shared her expertise at the local, state and federal levels including work with former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm and First Lady Michelle Obama.  She holds a Bachelor and Masters from Wayne State University, an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University and is a Certified Life and Leadership Coach.\n\n
